Bilkent Holding companies are ranked among the Top 50 companies in Turkey and have consistently been market leaders in their industries. Bilkent Holding's roots extend back to Dilek Construction, established in 1968 by the late Professor İhsan Doğramacı. It was followed by Tepe Ağaç Metal ve Makina Sanayi (Tepe Timber Metal and Machinery Industries) and Meteksan (Medical Technologies Industries) in 1969. Following the restructuring process, the companies were gathered under the roof of Bilkent Holding in 1986. Since its inception, Bilkent Holding’s scope of activities has expanded significantly. It is now a major player not only in the construction industry but also in furniture-retail, printing and paper, real estate as well as service sectors, while playing an active role in airport operations through its participations.
